This is a nice thing to see each time I leave the house. It is a nest of Mourning Doves
This would be the second time she has nested outside my frontdoor and both times she has had two babies.

And this is there nest

I've come to wish you an unhappy birthday
I've come to wish you an unhappy birthday
'Cause you're evil
And you lie
And if you should die
I may feel slightly sad
(But I won't cry)
Loved and lost
And some may say
When usually it's Nothing
Surely you're happy
It should be this way ?
I say "No, I'm gonna kill my dog"
And : "May the lines sag, may the lines sag heavy and deep tonight"
I've come to wish you an unhappy birthday
I've come to wish you an unhappy birthday
'Cause you're evil
And you lie
And if you should die
I may feel slightly sad
(But I won't cry)
Loved and lost
And some may say
When usually it's Nothing
Surely you're happy
It should be this way ?
I said "No"
And then I shot myself
So, drink, drink, drink
And be ill tonight
From the one you left behind
From the one you left behind
From the one you left behind
From the one you left behind
Behind
Behind
Behind
Behind
Behind
Behind
Oh, unhappy birthday
Behind
Behind

I have played this song for me each year for the last 13+ years. It is the first thing I hear when I wake up and even though the words may sound DISMAL to some, it bring so much happiness to me.
There may be some out there that don't know but this song is from one of the greatest bands ever to play or sing a note
written by Morrissey
music by Johnny Marr
from the album: Strange Ways Here We Come
1987
Today I say goodbye to a voice from my childhood.
you may not know the names but you would know the voices
Paul Winchell

&
John Fiedler http://www.cnn.com/2005/SHOWBIZ/TV/06/27/obit.fiedler.ap/
Even though both men had many other voices I think they will be remembered for bringing to life Tigger and Piglet
This is something that you don't see every day ( and if you do your lucky) these pictures were taken by a good friend of mine. The first one I am pretty sure its a Sharp-Shinned Hawk http://www.peregrinefund.org/Explore_Raptors/hawks/sshnhawk.html The picture was taken at a houes in Anahiem hills, CA and we were about 7 feet away from the Bird.

These pictures are of Blad Egales http://www.baldeagleinfo.com/
were taken in Alaska and a truly a thing of beauty
These are Juvinals that are probably two years of age
and these are some adults
and the sad thing is The bald eagle is still listed as "threatened" in the United States.
and we are the only ones to blame for this.

A Tribute to George Lucas

I was watching this last night and thinking for every thing this man has giving to cinema ( not only films ) but actually creating the technology that is widely use today by all film makers is incredible.
Without George pushing everything to the next level and above, I do not think films would be the same today.
As you know STAR WARS means allot of things to allot of different people and for reason all my own it means a great deal to me in my life (past, present and future). From when I was 6 years old seeing STAR WARS with my dad and having it absolutely blow my mind to seeing episode III and wiping a tear from my eye as the end credit rolled by, because just like when I was 6 it absolutely blew my fucking mind I was very sad to see it end but I am so grateful that I was along for the ride and now get to share this world with my kids and see the smile and joy in the faces as I introduce the to the STAR WARS Universe, I can't wait for what's is to come..............
Thank you George, THANK YOU
