I was watching this last night and thinking for every thing this man has giving to cinema ( not only films ) but actually creating the technology that is widely use today by all film makers is incredible.
Without George pushing everything to the next level and above, I do not think films would be the same today.
As you know STAR WARS means allot of things to allot of different people and for reason all my own it means a great deal to me in my life (past, present and future). From when I was 6 years old seeing STAR WARS with my dad and having it absolutely blow my mind to seeing episode III and wiping a tear from my eye as the end credit rolled by, because just like when I was 6 it absolutely blew my fucking mind I was very sad to see it end but I am so grateful that I was along for the ride and now get to share this world with my kids and see the smile and joy in the faces as I introduce the to the STAR WARS Universe, I can't wait for what's is to come..............
Thank you George, THANK YOU

Truer sentiments can not be said. Not only did he change the way films are made he also changed the paradigm of film making. He proved that films made outside of Hollywood can be very successful. He blazed the trail and inspired people like Kevin Smith, Quentin Tarantino, Peter Jackson, and Robert Rodriguez.
Well deserved George, well deserved.
